My New Friend

This gorgeous bundle of "Chatsworth" fabric arrived in the studio and I thought it was destined to be a quilt but then an old pattern fell on the ground and, well one thing lead to another and now I have a new friend in the studio.

I think he is just a little bit cute.

And the only type of mouse I want to see!

I called defeat not he fabric flowers that the pattern called for and just used some crochet ones instead and added some buttons.

The pattern is called "Pipkin's Pincushion" from Petals and Patches.

Fabric is "Chatsworth" by Emily Taylor Designs for Riley Blake Fabrics.

Perfect match.
